Coaching Through the Gaps

Coaching through the Gaps

A professional program of coaching and coach training, provided through the Samaritan Counseling Centers of Greater Birmingham.

Coaching is an on-going professional relationship designed to help you produce the results you want in your personal or professional life.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is devoted to forms of coaching that honor the “coachee” as the expert in his or her own life and work. The Federation adheres to the belief that every person is creative, resourceful, and whole. It is the coach’s responsibility is to discover, clarify, and align with what the coachee wants to achieve.

The coach encourages the coachee’s self-discovery and elicits coachee generated solutions and strategies. This relationship also holds the coachee responsible and accountable.

The following types of coaching are available:

  • Executive
  • Professional
  • Life
  • Career
  • Clergy
  • Team

A coach helps the coachee to:

  • Take yourself more seriously
  • Set better boundaries
  • Appreciate your uniqueness
  • Set better, clearer goals
  • Be rigorously accountable
  • Live more consciously
  • Take more risks
