Online gaming solutions provider Yggdrasil is set to help promote a healthy, safe and sustainable gambling environment in Sweden after being granted a membership to Swedish trade group SPER.
SPER, which was founded in 2002, now has 20 members including both operators and suppliers active and licensed in Sweden that are committed to acting in a responsible and ethical manner following the opening of the online market in January 2019.

Members agree to follow common responsible gambling and marketing guidelines, pledging to a code of ethics that ensures player protection forms an integral part of their day-to-day operations.
As well as this, SPER also provides a platform for its members to discuss industry best practice and challenges and to regularly discuss issues and learn from one another.

Yggdrasil’s membership into SPER follows on from a recent announcement of a collaboration with Black Cow, with the global game engine partnership seeing the latter integrate its game development kit platform with the firm’s new game adaption, tools and interface solution.
Lauded as the power behind the YG masters program, it enables global and local studios and game developer partners with instant access to game engines and a swift route to new markets.
